Kelly Rowland doesn’t care if she comes across as a “diva”!
On Tuesday, the Destiny’s Child alum was a hot topic coming out of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. If you didn’t see, she totally blew her lid on a security guard at the event while walking the Marcello Mio red carpet in an elegant gown, diamond necklace, and blunt blonde bob. See pics (below):

At the time, your guess was pretty much as good as ours as far was what led Kelly to get so upset. But we now have some firmer answers! On Wednesday, an insider told DailyMail.com that the Dilemma singer blew up after she’d “had it” with the security team “being aggressive.” The source explained:
“The people who are assigned to helping stars walk the red carpet were being aggressive and Kelly was trying to ignore it. By the time she got to the last woman she had had it because she scolded Kelly and told her to move when she was trying to wave to fans and help the paparazzi get their shot.”
In the pic, you can see the lady putting a firm arm behind Kelly, almost forcing her up the stairs instead of letting her take her time on the carpet. The insider added:
“[Kelly] doesn’t care if she comes across like a diva if she knows that she is advocating for herself. She isn’t fake and wanted to set a clear boundary.”
Well, the boundary was definitely set! And the whole world saw! Ha!
Between this and the Say My Name singer ditching an appearance on Today back in February, it seems like she has a bit of a short fuse, ya know?! But hey, the “diva” clearly ain’t ashamed of that based on this report! Thoughts??
