Kevin Costner and sports movies go together like pro athletes and paternity tests balls.
And it’s been way too long since he’s made one.
The actor, who just received an Emmy nomination for his work in the miniseries Hatfields & McCoys, is in talks to star in the sports biopic McFarland.
The movie’s titular coach is famous for taking a poor Southern California Hispanic neighborhood’s track team to glory.
The film could mark Costner’s first movie since 1999’s For Love Of The Game to be set in the world of sports.
We say, “Play ball!”
Or “Run!” Whatever, make the movie!
