Thailand has some weird things going on, and not the least of which is a new fried chicken restaurant called Hitler. We are not kidding, the photo above was taken by Andrew Spooner, author of the Footprint Thailand Handbook, and customer reviews say it’s pretty average chicken.
KFC just told our source that they’re probably going to take legal action against Hitler (which is a weird thing for anyone to say), because the storefront insignia is basically just Hitler’s head on Colonel Sanders body!
Here’s what KFC said:
“We find it extremely distasteful and are considering legal action since it is an infringement of our brand trademark and has nothing to do with us.”
It’s super offensive, that’s for sure! What’s even weirder is that it’s part of a new emerging trend that even has a name: Hitler Chic. The trend has pop culture icons recreated to resemble the former Nazi leader.
We do NOT want to try any Hitler chicken!
