Ooh, we just love a good set of celebrity lookalikes! Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard. Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel. Javier Bardem and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
And now we have a new one to add to our ever-growing catalogue: Kiernan Shipka and Emma Watson!
We’d honestly never noticed the resemblance before back in her Mad Men days, but now that Kiernan is all grown up she does look quite a bit like the Little Women star! Innerestingly the doppelgängers have more in common; they’re also both most famous for playing witches, with Kiernan taking over the role of the titular teenage witch in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Emma obviously being cleverest witch of her class Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series.

So we suppose it’s only right some people can’t tell which witch is which!
The similarity was brought to our attention quite hilariously when someone actually MISTOOK Kiernan for Emma on social media — and the Netflix star had the perfect response!
It started when the 20-year-old posted a selfie with her dog Frankie on Instagram on Wednesday:
She captioned the cute pic:
“Taking a break from #caos content for DOG CONTENT”
But a commenter wasn’t looking at the good boy — or possibly directly at the good girl because he wrote:
“So pretty Emma Watson”
As celeb looks comparisons go, that’s probably one of the most flattering you can get!
Hilariously, Kiernan actually responded, writing:
“thank you. I had an amazing time filming Harry Potter & am really thrilled about all the new projects I’m doing now!”
Ha! More like Sabrina the Teenage Wit! Loves it!
As of this writing, Kiernan’s response has gotten over 16,000 likes! And her followers joined in on the fun, joking:
“brightest witch of her generation”
“The Perks of being a witch flower”
“I’m pretty sure this is McKenna Grace, but she does look like Emma Watson”
The original poster wrote simply:
“you are most welcome ?”
Um… We’re still not sure he doesn’t know she isn’t Emma Watson! LOLz! In all seriousness, he has to, right? We mean… her name is on the IG account! LOLz!
Emma has yet to respond, but perhaps she can consult with former co-star Daniel Radcliffe, who also has an ongoing confusion with another fantasy lead, Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood.
