Christmas came early for Harry Potter fans!
Some of the cast of the beloved film franchise reunited for an epic holiday gathering this week, and the pics they posted from the celebration are making us feel nostalgic and festive all at once.
(In the spirit of J.K. Rowling, we’ll make up a word to describe this very specific feeling: festalgia! Oh wait, we just turned everything purple…)
Yes, fans were certainly feeling the *festalgia* on social media after the pics were shared by Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), showing the Hogwarts bad boy posed up alongside Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), and Matt Lewis (Neville Longbottom).

The 32-year-old actor captioned a few group photos of the former co-stars having a jolly good time — and getting caught up in old school rivalries, apparently — writing in the caption:
“Seasons greetings from my school mates. @mattdavelewis & I mid debate x #gryfindorVSslytherin.”
Hogwarts house debates aside, it appears the gang enjoyed each other’s company. Watson also posted one of the pics to her own Instagram account, writing:
“Merry Christmas from us ☺️.”

We’d be remiss not to point out Felton and Watson appear happy to be linked up side-by-side in the pics, which does little to discourage the ongoing rumors the two are low-key dating.
While both actors have denied this speculation, with the 29-year-old actress recently calling herself “self-partnered” in British Vogue, their co-star Rupert Grint fueled the rumors by previously speaking about their palpable chemistry on set.
In an interview with ET last month, the Ron Weasley portrayer said of Felton and Watson:
“There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark… But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance.”
The Beauty and the Beast star addressed this so-called “spark” back in 2012, admitting on The Jonathan Ross Show that she developed a “terrible crush” on Felton. She explained:
“We love a bad guy, and he was a few years older and he had a skateboard and that just did it, really. He used to do tricks on it. He was so cool. He totally knew [I had a crush]. And the thing is, he’d turn and go, ‘Oh, I see her in a younger sisterly way.’ And it just broke my heart, still does.”
Well, they’re certainly not on the playground anymore. We wonder if the two happened to find their way under any mistletoe during this holiday bash??
Either way, it’s always great to see the HP cast reunite for the holidays and bring festalgia to the masses!
