Home, home on the range… where the deer and the antelope play…
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word — but not Friday, because today, Kimye’s in trouble! Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, clearly have a lot to learn about living in Wyoming, because a recent video they shot of them chasing some antelope on an ATV has the locals up in arms!

The drama all started last weekend, when the couple was out for an ATV ride across the range at their new ranch near Cody, Wyoming. At one point, with Kim taking a video, the pair came across some pronghorn — AKA American antelope — and spooked the animals with the loud four-wheeler.
In the video, then, you can see the antelope run out in front of the vehicle with Kimye chasing close behind for a few seconds. Things got so fast, at one point in the clip it appears you can hear the reality TV starlet yell, “I think you’re scaring them!”
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Yeah, so the ATV probably was scaring the antelope — which is why it turns out there are laws against chasing deer and antelope in this manner! And it’s why the Wyoming Game & Fish Department actually showed up at the ranch a few days later to talk with the manager there about not doing that again!!!
Per TMZ, the organization was apparently made aware of Kim’s video when viewers in Wyoming called it in to complain. So, they sent an agent to the ranch to “make sure everyone is aware of the rules pertaining to wildlife,” according to an insider.
No harm, no foul here as the department didn’t issue citations or anything like that. Just a little reminder not to chase the wildlife!
Nevertheless, a source close to the West fam says the couple was simply cruising along, minding their own business, when the animals came running by. To hear the insider claim it, Kanye apparently slowed down soon after the video clip and let the animals on their way. (FWIW, you can see the video clip HERE.)
Whatever really happened out there that day, consider it a lesson learned for the famous duo. There is no investigation into the incident and authorities don’t anticipate anything further coming from it.

In case you were wondering about the worst that could happen in this instance, it’s merely a citation and a $435 fine. That’s a big-time ticket for us normal people, but it’s chump change when you just put down eight figures to buy the ranch in the first place!
Fines and citations aside, though, let’s just hope Kimye learned the bigger lesson here, and they’ll henceforth be good stewards of the land out in the gorgeous Equality State. Especially as role models to their four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm!
