Wow, color us surprised!
The typically lavish Kim Kardashian and Kanye West apparently saved the extravagance for their wedding, because they were totally low-key on their honeymoon in Ireland!
According to leaked emails between their travel agents, Kim and Kanye requested DVDs and cards for their post-wedding vacay!
Can’t you just totally imagine Kimye browsing through Netflix after a round of Go Fish?!
In one of the emails, Kimye’s travel agent makes the couple’s requests quite clear:
├óΓé¼┼ôFrom what we├óΓé¼Γäóre hearing, it would appear they├óΓé¼Γäóre going to spend plenty of downtime at the Castle, and are looking forward to watching movies and just spending alone time together. I know you├óΓé¼Γäóve already brought in a large TV (get the biggest one you can) and they have requested a DVD collection be brought in.”
Wow, a large T.V.?! What opulence!
The email goes on to say:
├óΓé¼┼ôSomeone on your staff may have a collection we can cobble together for the weekend, but my other suggestion is to have your staff pick up a Roku streaming player. You can hook it up to the TV and WiFi and they can download movies on demand from Amazon, HBO, Netflix, etc., which may make it easier. Might want to pick up some playing cards too.”
While we were a bit, ahem, shocked to hear of the couple’s simple honeymoon arrangements, we WEREN’T surprised to hear that Kimye had strict instructions on how to be greeted and had requested an Irish flag waving upon arrival.
Well, they couldn’t be completely basic on their honeymoon, right?!
It’s actually quite refreshing to hear that Kim and Kanye are happy to enjoy one another’s company in such simple ways. We love it!
And Kimye…if you ever want a low-key night of cards and DVDs…call us!
