It’s not looking good for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West‘s marriage.
Following the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s quick, but emotional trip to Wyoming to finally reunite with her husband, talk about where their relationship is headed has only heightened. Amid reports that the TV personality feels “trapped” being married to the rapper, more inside information into Kim’s headspace is coming out.
A source spoke to People about how the couple is on completely different pages during this rocky period as Kanye appears to be in the midst of a serious bipolar episode. Even as they celebrated six years of marriage on May 24, talk of splitting up bubbled up even prior to his recent controversial outbursts.

Despite publicly apologizing to his wife on Twitter this past weekend, Yeezy, who apparently still wants to make this marriage work, hasn’t tried anything to fix what’s already broken. The insider explained:
“He doesn’t seem to get what she is saying. He hasn’t changed anything that she told him needs to change.”
It’s hard to pinpoint what Mrs. West might be wanting from her hubby, but as the confidant continued to spill, she “feels that she has tried everything.”
“She isn’t getting back what she needs from Kanye. She was to the point that she flew to Cody to basically tell him their marriage is over and to say goodbye.”
Being the only person to actually put in any effort, especially while juggling law school, raising four kids, filming, and running a makeup empire, seems to have taken its toll on the 39-year-old. But it doesn’t make the decision of what to do next any easier, keeping their children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, in mind:
“Kim is very torn. The last thing she wants is to be divorced with four kids. She knows that she will be fine financially, but her concerns are the kids and the partnership. She is moving towards a divorce, but who knows if she will actually sign papers.”
This all comes amid West’s 2020 shocking presidential campaign, which included a painful-to-watch rally in South Carolina. A different insider dished to the outlet earlier this week how Kim has pressed ‘Ye to not move forward with the political run so he can “focus on his mental health instead.” Making it a priority really seems to be what’s most important, as it’s proven to have detrimental effects on his family, career, and relationships.
We don’t think we need to remind you how Kanye slammed his mother-in-law Kris Jenner, too, comparing her to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un. Only time will tell what will happen between Kimye, but hearing so much from Kim’s side in all this, it’s hard not to consider this is all possibly in an attempt to boost public sympathy ahead of a divorce.
