This reunion — if it really happens — is LONG overdue!
King Charles III and Prince Harry have slowly been rebuilding their relationship after a lengthy estrangement. And now, they are set to expand those reconciliation efforts to the rest of the Sussex family. Charles is preparing to see his grandkids again!

Sources told Radar Online on Monday that the father and son are planning another get-together, and this time, the monarch will be coming to the US. It’s not long from now either, an insider dished:
“Charles is expected to come in April.”
Charles is expected to take part in a state visit in connection to events around the 250th anniversary of American independence later in the year. While he’s here on business, it’s a great opportunity to hop over to California (presumably) and spend quality time with Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4 — who he hasn’t seen since June 2022! The source said:
“But on the agenda will definitely be a meeting with Harry. Charles wants to see his son – and his grandkids.”
Charles only met Lili in person ONCE — and that was when her parents hosted a first birthday party while in the UK for the Platinum Jubilee. He’s stayed in touch since then on big occasions, but it’s different, you know? Their visit was a long time ago, and both kids have grown up so much since then!
Interestingly, Charles isn’t the only royal headed to America this year — but he IS the only one who will be stopping by to see the Duke! Prince William is also planning to cross the pond over the summer for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but he won’t be making a pit stop in Montecito:
“While Charles is hoping to mend his relationship with Harry, William wants no part of it. And that’s likely never going to change.”
Oof. The siblings’ relationship will take much more time and work, but it’s nice to hear that Harry and Charles are continuing to mend things. With His Majesty’s health issues, there is truly no better time than now to heal.
A lot could happen between now and April, but we sure hope this reunion takes place! It would be so lovely for them all!
