If you’re staring at the photo (above) and are dumbfounded, don’t worry. You’re not alone!
That’s what’s being called a “Potato Party” which originated in Japan. The idea is that because of a Japanese sale on McDonald’s french fries, teens would go buy a bunch of them, spread them out, and feast. This, as you guessed, is SUPER annoying for both the workers and regular customers. Can you imagine how much time it would take to fry all those up??
Not to mention that leaving food on your plate is considered disrespectful in Japan… and NOBODY could eat that many fries! LOLz!
Anyway, the party made the jump to Korea, where the kids pictured (above) were promptly kicked out of the restaurant for being awful.
Oh, and the fries in Korea WEREN’T on sale, so the group dropped a $250 bill for all of it!
SO dumb! What a waste of money and peoples’ time!
