Kristin Cavallari has been really open lately about her past relationships… but it turns out she’s also been really secretive about a NEW relationship!
Back in September The Hills alum broke up with hunky boy toy Mark Estes after seven months of dating. She talked about what a great guy the TikToker was even after the split, saying the problem was that she “started to feel the age a little bit with life experience.” Yeah, their age gap was pretty substantial — Mark is just 24 years old, she’s 37. Not only that, she has three kids!
Being a busy single parent (without much help from her ex, apparently) she’s said she has no time to waste on guys when anything is wrong. But that doesn’t mean she’s done trying! Nope, she’s already got a new guy! Wow!

No, it isn’t her celeb crush Kevin Costner! She actually isn’t saying who it is, but she is giving some clues that let us rule out the Yellowstone patriarch. Opening up about her love life on Monday’s Dumb Blonde podcast, she revealed:
“I’m kinda dating someone else right now! I’m not going to say who it is and it’s really new.”
So exciting! While she wasn’t going to let Bunnie Xo pry it out of her, she did give some pretty huge clues.
First, she seems over the moon! She called him a “good guy” who “checked all the boxes” for her — and said they “connect on so many different levels.” And we think we know some of them! The big one? The guy has kids! Kids plural! Just like her! So that’s definitely something she can get along with him on. That’s huge, considering life experience was such a factor with the last guy. This is someone with an extremely similar experience, having kids from a past relationship.
And that’s not all! She added:
“He retired a couple of years ago and he’s got so much depth and I just love talking to him. He’s 40.”
He’s 40 and retired already? Who the heck does that? Well… pro athletes, that’s who! Yep! She confessed she’s dating another athlete, just like her baby daddy Jay Cutler. She actually said sporty guys are typically her type:
“They love me! I’m a f**king WAG through and through.”
OK, so let’s tally that up, shall we? He’s 40. A retired pro athlete. With kids from a previous relationship.
Man, we hoped that would narrow it down more! But like we said, it’s not Costner. And we can rule out any other actors or reality stars who might have been interested. Hmm… We wonder how long it will take sports fans to narrow this down…
She may not be willing to spill his identity just yet, but she is absolutely glowing when it comes to talking about the relationship! She told Bunnie:
“F**k this is what I’ve been needing, so we will see! He’s coming to stay with me in a couple of days.”
