Things weren’t exactly easy for Kylie Jenner at the Oscars on Sunday night in one key way!
Sure, the Kylie Swim mogul enjoyed a particularly memorable night at the award show while on the arm of her beloved boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. But during the show, the 27-year-old socialite came face-to-face with the Call Me By Your Name actor’s sister Pauline. Uh oh!!
Some of you might be wondering what the big deal about that could possibly be. After all, doesn’t Kylie’s family LOVE Timothée?! Well, yes they do. And thus, shouldn’t that love go the other way, too?! Well…
See, others of you know exactly where we’re going with this: we’re throwing it back to that persistent fan theory from the start of the year about how Pauline supposedly really doesn’t like Kylie because of the way the Sex Lives Of College Girls star views billionaires!! Yuuuup! Remember that???

On Sunday night, that fan theory about a supposed feud was called right out into the open — because Kylie and Pauline came face-to-face in the most public of ways! It all started when the Life Of Kylie alum and her A-list actor boyfriend were sitting right up front at the show. ICYMI (and how could you have missed it??), the duo looked a little something like this while enjoying their time together on Hollywood’s biggest stage:

At one point during the multi-hour broadcast, Timothée’s actor sis got up from her seat and came right over to chat it up with her bro. And of course, Kylie was right there next to the Wonka actor as Pauline waltzed right up and started talking.
Awkward!!!
Pauline was there in Kylie’s face alongside Timothée’s costar in A Complete Unknown, Elle Fanning. Pics from the evening showed the four of them chatting together. Kylie and her BF remained seated the whole time, while Elle and Pauline stayed standing for the convo. And while all four had smiles on their faces the entire time, we can’t help but wonder whether things might have been a little awkward for Kylie considering Pauline’s nasty social media comments about billionaires a couple months back. Ya know?!
Anyways, things appeared okay after the award show, because as you can see (below), Kylie and Pauline left the bash at the same time with Timothée as the glue that linked ’em together on the way out:
But even though everybody appeared to be in high spirts on the movie industry’s biggest night, that didn’t stop a few fans from STILL pontificating on social media about whether Pauline still has a subtle (or, uh, not so subtle) hatred for the KarJenner fam’s youngest billionaire.
Over on X (Twitter), users continued to fan the flames about a possible feud:
“Timothée really said ‘family outing’ at the Oscars. Kylie and Pauline in the mix — this duo wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card!”
“Pauline doesn’t even follow her I bet she doesn’t like the coupling either”

TBH, regarding that last comment, we are wondering the exact same thing! LOLz!
