Kylie Jenner once again placed herself in the lions’ den by attending the Oscars with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. And she’s being torn apart by fans yet again!
This time it’s over the “rude” way she treated Sir Elton John! At least, that’s what fans thought!

At one point during the commercials, Elton came over to say hello to Timmy, and cameras capture the moment the A Complete Unknown star introduced him to his GF! And Kylie shook his hand… but did NOT get out of her chair to do so! See the full moment (below)!
Viewers of People‘s Instagram Reel were NOT impressed by what they deemed entitled behavior — not deeming Sir Elton important enough to stand? They really savaged her, even bringing momager Kris Jenner into it, writing:
“Oh no no no you get up for Sir Elton John!!!”
“You stand for Sir Elton!!”
“Stand TF UP kylie”
“No manners.”
“Wow mama Kris -did you not teach your daughter any manners?”
“I have no problem whatsoever with the Kardashians but, stand up when being introduced to anyone, especially Sir Elton John. I mean come on…He’s a living legend. That just didn’t sit right with me.”
“The entitlement is real!!”
“Classless as always”
“That is Sir Elton John, you stand when being greeted to him”
“Wtf. I don’t care who it is, if you are being introduced to someone and they are all standing, you stand the hell up and say hello. My goodness.”

Damn!
But allow us to come at this from another angle here… Did y’all see what Kylie was wearing?? Girl’s perfectly fitted Miu Miu gown was so tight, there’s a good chance she COULDN’T stand up on a whim! She might have been in a sequined cage, know what we mean?
She wasn’t ignoring Sir Elton, she seemed to have a sweet interaction with him. And the Tiny Dancer singer has thrown enough glam parties, he definitely knows about gowns that restrict movement. We’re wondering if this isn’t all just a bit of projection on the part of folks who still think of Kylie’s reality TV origins as making her entertainment trailer trash next to the grandeur of Oscar gold.
