Lady GaGa and her fiancé Michael Polansky are plotting the perfect wedding — but it might not be as elaborate as you’d think!
The Poker Face star appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and during it, she opened up about her current thoughts on a wedding! Shockingly, she revealed:
“We actually talk about going to the courthouse just the two of us and ordering Chinese food.”
OMG! So chill!

But the singer then teased:
“But knowing me, also, it could become like a circus with unicorns.”
Yeah, that feels more like GaGa! LOLz! TBH, we wouldn’t be surprised if they do go the casual route considering how laid back their proposal turned out to be. Elsewhere in the interview, the 38-year-old revealed:
“He proposed to me right after my birthday. So my birthday passed and I was like, ‘Well, I thought he was going to propose but then maybe…’”
So relatable! Clarifying that Michael still celebrated her b-day by throwing her “a beautiful birthday dinner,” she recalled how they then went on a trip. They “went rock climbing” on April Fools’ Day, which she thought was “super fun” and something they’d done before. When the comedian wondered if she really rocked climbed, the Born This Way vocalist joked:
“I mean, I do now. I’d do anything for love!”
Awww!
So, the couple went rock climbing! But unlike what you’d expect, Michael didn’t get down on one knee at the top (or at all). She shared:
“He didn’t propose to me at the top. We climbed up to the top … took some photos and then we went back down. And we were just walking back to the room and talking and he said …it was very Michael, to ask me if he could ask me. He wanted to know if it was ok to propose before he proposed and I was like, ‘Yes! It’s so OK!’”
Flabbergasted, the TV host remarked:
“So wait … he didn’t do it at the top? Are you sure this guy’s ok?”
LMFAO!
The Grammy winner replied:
“I think it was smart! It was safe, safe at the bottom. He had the ring in his backpack so it was so super cute. He like, got in his backpack and pulled it out.”
The A Star Is Born alum added:
“No, he didn’t [get down on one knee]. But you know what, I’m a modern lady, I like what he did.”
