Hmmm….
Not long ago, Lauren Conrad made an interesting comment about the color purple. She admitted she’s not a big fan of the hue in general!
So we were obviously surprised and a little skeptical when she posted a photo of herself rocking a full head of lavender hair on her blog today. It IS April Fool’s Day, after all!!
The former Hills star captioned her pic with an explanation for the drastic change, saying:
├óΓé¼┼ôAs I├óΓé¼Γäóve mentioned before, I keep temporary pink hair dye in my shower for whenever I├óΓé¼Γäóm in the mood for a fun beauty look…But this time, I decided to take the plunge and try a semi-permanent color. This one stays in for 6 to 8 weeks before washing out. I really didn├óΓé¼Γäót think that purple was my color, but after seeing several others wear it recently, I decided to give it a try…It just goes to show that you should never knock a trend until you try it.├óΓé¼┬¥
If Lauren’s statement is true, the purple hair looks great on her!
And if the picture is just an elaborate April Fool’s Day joke, someone did an EXCELLENT photoshop job to make that look come to life.
Also, if it is a prank, Miz Conrad should seriously consider dying her hair a similar shade! After all, an initial photoshop mock-up is what convinced Nicole Richie to rep lilac locks!!
