Remember That Time Leonardo DiCaprio Was Almost Cast On Baywatch

You know how Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the best actors of our generation?
Well, it’s hard to imagine but there was a time when Leo was NOT too big a star to promote Titanic 3D.
A long time ago he was hoping to catch any break he could get.
In fact, he desperately tried to land a leading role on Baywatch!
That’s right! Instead of saving Rose from dying in the freezing Atlantic, Leo could have saved hundreds of beach bum girls! LOL!
In a recent interview, David Hasselhoff confirmed that Jeremy Jackson barely beat out DiCaprio for the coveted part of Hobie.
The Hoff says years later:

“I saw Leonardo DiCaprio and I said, ‘You know what, that was the best thing that ever happened to you! You would have never gotten Titanic and have been this big star. You’d be like Jeremy Jackson and David Hasselhoff, looking for work’. Ha!”

We hope Great Gatsby, The Aviator Revolutionary Road star thanks the Hoff in an Oscar speech!
You know, if he ever gets that Oscar he deserves.
