Liam Payne's Friend REFUSES To Testify As He Faces Charges For Singer's Death!

Rogelio “Roger” Nores is staying tight-lipped amid the investigation into Liam Payne‘s death.

If you haven’t been following, after the One Direction member’s deadly fall at the CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires back in October, police have undertaken a thorough investigation. That means looking into every person who was with or around Liam before his death. Law enforcement were able to make three arrests in connection to his death on charges of abandonment. Those arrested included Roger, a waiter and alleged drug supplier named Braian Nahuel Paiz, and an unidentified hotel worker who also allegedly helped him get drugs.

Roger has been maintaining his innocence ever since he was charged, saying he “never abandoned Liam” back in November, but prosecutors disagree. And now, after being summoned by a judge for interviews, he’s refusing to talk. Argentinian news site Infobae cited several sources close to the investigation when they reported the singer’s friend and both of the other accused individuals were “retaining their right to remain silent” during a Tuesday Zoom interview.

The outlet also reported Roger would be submitting a written statement to the court later, per his lawyers, rather than speaking to anyone directly. That’s the final detail the musician’s manager and his lawyer gave before they shut down completely. The other two accused were scheduled to be questioned today, but there’s no word yet as to if they continued to keep silent.

Last we heard Roger was pointing fingers at the CasaSur Hotel as being the ones who attributed to Liam’s death and not himself. So we guess we’ll have to wait and see what that written statement ends up looking like in the coming days.

Thoughts, Perezcious readers?
