We’re sure Michael Jackson‘s kids have an opinion about this.
Lifetime has undertaken another “unauthorized biopic” project following their inneresting portrayals of Britney Spears and the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast. Only this time, the network is taking on the King Of Pop’s last two years in Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland.

And while Lifetime’s previous films in the “unauthorized” franchise have been pretty bad, this particular made-for-TV movie looks kind of intriguing. Why?? Well, because the cable channel hired famed MJ impersonator, Navi.
Now, Navi’s impression of the Thriller singer is just about spot on, but that doesn’t mean the film itself will be a hit. It’s said the story will be told from Jackson’s longtime bodyguards’ point of view, as the flick is based off the book penned by Michael’s security guards Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard. Huh.
Be sure to ch-ch-check out the trailer for the upcoming Lifetime movie for yourself (below)!
Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland premieres on May 29 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime. Are YOU going to tune in??
