Lindsay Lohan Sings About Drugs & Social Anxiety In New 'Xanax' Music Video!

Lindsay Lohan drops Xanax music video.

Lindsay Lohan just dropped a confusing string of Snapchat videos!

Oh, wait… it’s a music video!

The singer, actress, and Syrian refugee activist released a new video for her *comeback* song Xanax on Monday, and it sure is something.

Video: Perez Tells A Juicy Lindsay Story!

LiLo shared the visuals in a post on her Instagram page, describing it in the caption as “a compilation of vignettes of life.” She elaborated:

“Family, love, the process of moving forward and letting go of the past. To live and be happy, free of fear. Just to be grateful and open our eyes to our opportunities instead of numbing the mind?.”

These vignettes include clips of people hanging out on the beach, her siblings, and lots of paparazzi footage of the 33-year-old — who sings in the track about how she’s over the party scene in El Lay.

With the help of some autotune, she sings:

I don’t like the parties in LA / I go home in a bad mood, pass out / Wake up alone, just to do it all over again / Looking for you”

Deep!

Fans were all for the song — which features Miley Cyrus collaborator, Alma — leaving comments like:

“OMG ?? I’m crying ? Thank u, so. much Lilo to come back.”

“I love this so much♥️?”

Drop da f**king songg!! I need it”

“OMG I love it!!! Put it on Spotify please”

“lana del rey video games was found dead”

Sounds like they’re hooked!

** Lindsay has since deleted the video from her IGTV, but you can still listen to the full version of the track (below)!

LiLo previously teased the new music by sharing a snippet on Virgin Radio Dubai earlier this month. As one of the hosts explained, the song is about “about anxiety and pressure and taking care of yourself.”

It’s unclear if a full LP will be released, but the star confirmed on Twitter earlier this summer she was “hard at work” writing and recording new material.

The current project she’s working on is Lindsay’s first music since her 2008 single, Bossy. Her debut album, Speak, was released in 2004 and certified platinum by the RIAA. In 2005, she released her follow-up album — and final album to date — A Little More Personal (Raw).

Linds has also been hard at work plotting a new hybrid reality show, which will reportedly star herself and her siblings. As we reported, she revealed on Australia’s Studio 10 last week:

“[I’m] writing a TV series that will come out in America. Almost like a reality show, but not a reality show.”

Get ready for a Lohanaissance, y’all!
