Lip Reader Reveals What Morgan Wallen Said Before Storming Off SNL Stage

So THIS is what Morgan Wallen said before storming off the Saturday Night Live stage!

The controversial country star stirred up, well, MORE controversy over the weekend when he abruptly beelined off the Studio 8H stage shortly after host Mikey Madison closed out the show — instead of sticking around to celebrate the episode with the cast. It certainly made for a tense conclusion to an otherwise great show. See (below):

If you’re like us, you’ve surely been wondering what he was muttering under his breath in that clip before heading off the stage… And a lip reader says she has the answers!

On Tuesday, prominent lip reader Nicola Hickling revealed HER professional opinion on what the Cowgirls crooner said… And it’s actually not bad at all! OR reflective of his awkward move! While turning and chatting with Mikey, she believes he said:

“Thank you all so much. I had a wonderful time.”

Running off the stage certainly doesn’t make it seem that way! Or the fact that he ONLY said that to the host — not the cast standing behind them!

According to Hickling, the Anora Oscar winner said in response:

“Chatting to you was really good.”

After Morgan made a break for the exit, several cast members clearly clocked it… And according to Hickling, Weekend Update star Colin Jost sympathetically said:

“You gotta remember how he is feeling.”

Hmmm. But WHAT was he feeling? And WHY was he feeling that way?? Sources in Morgan’s camp have claimed there are no hard feelings — even despite his shady “God’s country” post after the show.
