A blast from the past!
Lisa Ann Walter attended Sunday night’s 2023 SAG Awards with her former Parent Trap co-star Elaine Hendrix by her side!! The comedian, who won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series with her Abbot Elementary cast, began her evening on the red carpet with Elaine as her surprise plus one!
Lisa looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder black gown she found herself several years ago. Meanwhile, Elaine rocked a chic black tux! And they were seriously showstoppers!

As Perezcious readers know, the pair are best known for their Parent Trap roles. In the flick, Hendrix played Meredith Blake, the evil stepmother-to-be of Lindsay Lohan‘s characters Hallie and Annie, while Walter played Chessy, a housekeeper who worked for the twins’ father. They’ve remained friends over the years and even opened up about the possibility of a remake while at the award show! While speaking to Extra, the 59-year-old ABC star dished:
“Look, if Nancy Meyers writes it, it’s going to be genius. I don’t know if that is something that could happen but certainly, with Lindsay, you know, doing work again and being as beautiful and talented as she is, certainly, anything is possible. But I think in this version, we’d have to make Meredith a good guy. We’d have redemption for Meredith Blake.”
Elaine then quipped:
“Wait a minute. She wasn’t a good guy in the first one?”
Her bestie teased:
“Umm, I gotta go.”
LOLz!! It’s so fun to see them together again!

Over on her Instagram, Lisa opened up about how special it was to have her best friend by her side, writing:
“This was all the sweeter because the person whose hand i gripped while waiting for one of my comedy idols, Eugene Levy, to announce the winner – was my Bestie & the best date a girl could ask for, @elaine4animals. i’m glad everyone got a kick out of our red carpet moment – but for me, it was pure love & support of my BFF for over 25 years and the fact that it took her 21 hours, diverting to Vegas, cancelled flights, sleeping at the airport – for her to get to me. Get you a friend like that and everything else is gravy.”
So sweet!!
