Short but sweet!

As we reported, Vanderpump recently told RuPaul on his new daytime TV show that her brother’s unexpected death in April 2018 played a role in her decision to leave the reality show, elaborating (below):

“It was such a brutal season for me, and it was at a time where I was floundering. Everybody always says, ‘Oh, you look like you’ve got your life together,’ but I started that show this season like, two or three months after my brother passed. I just wasn’t in the right space.”

While speaking with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the Brit admitted she wished she had taken more time off to properly grieve Mark Vanderpump’s death.
Plus, her choice to leave RHOBH definitely seems like it’s coming at a good time given her mother’s recent passing:

“I just wasn’t as prepared. I found that I couldn’t deal with something that I could normally deal with. So then it just went on and it was accumulative and in the end I just said, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I just can’t.'”

Cohen agreed, chiming in:

“I wish I’d given you the year off.”

The Vanderpump Rules star continued, explaining her state of mind:

“I think this year, with where my mental state was — and I’ve been very honest about that, I struggled a lot, you know, after my brother’s suicide… The first few months it was really difficult, and I was kind of searching for happiness, so, I think you know… when something really significant happens in your life, maybe it does change you, you know?”

In addition to the tragic deaths in her family, she hasn’t been quiet about having her fair share of issues with her castmates!
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation owner spilled the tea to Us Weekly in early June that she has a strained relationship with her fellow housewives — Kyle RichardsLisa RinnaErika JayneDorit KemsleyTeddi Mellencamp, and Denise Richards.
LVP shared:

“I have a great relationship with [Bravo]; I just don’t have a great relationship with the women. After 17 episodes of them bashing me, I think I’ve had enough of all of them.”

Ouch!

We’ll miss tuning in to RHOBH to see you, Lisa!
