Lisa Vanderpump stops filming!

Lisa Vanderpump has temporarily stopped filming for Vanderpump Rules after the sudden death of her mother, Jean.
According to DailyMail.com on Thursday, the Bravolebrity’s 84-year-old mom passed away unexpectedly on Monday in England.

Though a representative for the restaurateur confirmed the passing, the 58-year-old was too upset to issue a statement. However, she is expected to travel to London in the coming week to make arrangements for the funeral.
In April 2018, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality’s brother, Mark, passed away from a suspected overdose.
Per the source:

“This has hit Lisa very hard and she is shocked by her mother’s sudden death… Lisa has not had an easy past 14 months. In April of 2018 her brother Mark committed suicide rocking her family to its core… She then had to deal with a tumultuous season on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills which ultimately led to her stopping filming and eventually quitting the show as she was tired of being bullied by the other cast members… One thing is for sure with Lisa though, she’s as strong as they come and once she has worked through her grief she will be back running her restaurant empire, focusing on her philanthropic endeavors and filming Vanderpump Rules.”

Earlier this month, the SUR owner told the publication she is not returning to RHOBH after she was accused of leaking a story to Radar Online about Dorit Kemsley‘s former adopted dog, Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. (In a recent episode, Vanderpump passed a lie detector test regarding the drama.)
Additionally, this week, Vanderpump told RuPaul that her brother’s death played a large role in her decision to leave the hit franchise, explaining:

“It was such a brutal season for me, and it was at a time where I was floundering. Everybody always says, ‘Oh, you look like you’ve got your life together,’ but I started that show this season like, two or three months after my brother passed. I just wasn’t in the right space.'”

Furthermore, while speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, the Brit admitted she wished she took more time off to properly grieve Mark’s death.

“I just wasn’t as prepared. I found that I couldn’t deal with something that I could normally deal with. So then it just went on and it was accumulative and in the end I just said, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I just can’t.’”

Cohen agreed, chiming in:

“I wish I’d given you the year off.”

While elaborating on her mental state, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation co-creator continued:

“I think this year, with where my mental state was — and I’ve been very honest about that, I struggled a lot, you know, after my brother’s suicide… The first few months it was really difficult, and I was kind of searching for happiness, so, I think you know… when something really significant happens in your life, maybe it does change you, you know?”

Sending love and prayers to Lisa and her family during this difficult time.
