Lorde Has Another Celeb Fan! Who Is Calling Her Pop Music's Savior?

Lorde has yet another celebrity fan!
In fact, Dave Grohl is such a Lorde admirer that her AH-Mazing tunes are giving him hope for the future of pop music!
While we love ourselves some bubblegum and raunchy pop, Dave would rather listen to that curly-headed Kiwi belt out Royals on repeat.
The Foo Fighters frontman explained:

“When I first heard ‘Royals’ it was sandwiched between all of that other stripper pop. I was so fucking relieved. I thought, ‘Hey, this might be another revolution.’ When I met her I said, ‘When I first heard your song on the radio and my kids sang along I felt like there was hope for my kids to grow up in an environment which is more than just superficial.’ There’s something about her that represented or resembled the Nirvana aesthetic. She has an incredible future ahead of her as a writer, performer and vocalist.”

Being compared to one of the most iconic bands like Nirvana by one of its very own members??? What a compliment!
Then again, she’s likely not all too surprised since she’s told us how in love with being queen she is! HA!
