Lorne Michaels is apparently obsessed with Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni‘s legal drama now! All because of the joke Ryan Reynolds made on Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special?!
The Deadpool & Wolverine star was at the show with his wife on Sunday and took part in the “audience” Q&A with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to joke about the never-ending It Ends With Us drama — which many viewers did not find funny! Watch the moment (below) if you haven’t seen it yet:

Since then, Lorne, the creator and exec producer of SNL, cannot stop talking about Blake and Justin’s dispute! According to former cast member Dana Carvey, that’s all he is texting him about!

The Wayne’s World star revealed on a new episode of his Fly on the Wall podcast Thursday that he messaged Lorne to congratulate him but the 80-year-old had something else on his mind. Dana said:
“Instead of talking about the show, he just goes, ‘Baldoni will now countersue. I think that Lively will probably get a new attorney.’”
When Dana tried to change the subject, his old boss wasn’t having it:
“Then I said, ‘But boy Tom Hanks was great and what about that monologue with Steve [Martin]?’ and he goes, ‘I don’t know where Ryan Reynolds is on this but certainly they have deep pockets.’”
LOLz!
Lorne! He’s just like the rest of us! As for the joke itself, Dana didn’t have the same opinion as all those pearl-clutching viewers. He thought it was “kind of funny” and a “good moment.” Meanwhile, his co-host David Spade pointed out that “whatever is going on you try to make a joke about it” — and that is what Ryan did. We mean, the guy who created “Hollywood Minute” would say that! LOLz!

It sounds like Lorne will keep up with all the updates in this case!! And we imagine this means at least one big Blake/Baldoni cold open in the next couple weeks, right??
