Don’t plan on buying a ticket on the Louis Vuitton Express unless you’re ready to drop a lot of dough!
The fashion house used an $8 million train for their fall runway set, and for the very first time, resumed on the same track for their fall ads!
The campaign was shot by Steven Meisel, but wasn’t photographed on the train itself. A backdrop of the locomotive was created to follow the same idea!
Marc Jacobs, LV’s artistic director, said of the set:
“We wanted to continue the journey we started with the fashion show. The glamour of travel and the romance of going somewhere.”
The expensive choo choo will be making its way to Shanghai next month for another epic show like the one that was done in Paris, and we can hardly wait!
All aboard!
