Cause Of Mac Miller’s Death Still Unclear As His DUI Case Is Dropped

Mac Miller death certificate deferred cause death

Mac Miller’s death certificate is in, but it still hasn’t shed any light on what caused the rapper’s life to end.
According to TMZ, the document notes that the 26-year-old’s cause of death is “deferred,” meaning the L.A. Country Coroner is awaiting toxicology reports.
While these results usually take four to six weeks, the death certificate was issued this week so Mac’s family could be able to bury or cremate his body. The rapper’s body has already been released to his family, per the outlet.

As for his lingering DUI case, TMZ also reports that the L.A. City Attorney is letting the deceased performer off the hook. Mac was supposed to be arraigned Tuesday in Los Angeles, but law enforcement sources say the City Attorney’s Office will drop the charges.
Back in May, Mac was arrested after smashing his vehicle into a utility pole in the San Fernando Valley. He fled the scene, but later fessed up when cops tracked him down at his home.
Ariana Grande‘s ex died of an apparent overdose in a bedroom at his San Fernando Valley home on Friday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
