Machine Gun Kelly’s latest tattoo was a doozy to get through.
Fans of the alt rock star will recall that he debuted a WILD new blackout tattoo in February, which covered most of his torso and arms. If you haven’t seen it yet, ch-ch-check it out (below):

In a video he shared on Instagram on Monday, the 33-year-old gave followers a behind-the-scenes look at the grueling process he endured to come out with that result. And it’s NOT for the faint of heart.
He began the video shirtless in a moment prior to covering up all his old ink with the blackout tattoo. He told the camera:
“Today marks the day that I start the physical change of my body. We’ll see what this turns out to be.”
He then showed some quick clips of the tattoo gun needles doing their thing, before giving an update after his first session, which covered most of one arm. By his next session, he had streaks of blood dripping down his arm.
Holy s**t!
He gave close up shots of everything from his neck to his nipples and belly button being pierced with the ink as scars formed. He described the process as “the most painful s**t I’ve ever experienced in my life.” At one point, he even included a clip of himself in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which he said he used to “heal faster.” Watch the full video with all the gory effects and unsettling fallout (below):
