Well, that’s it.
It only takes 4 Minutes to finalize a divorce.
With neither Madonna nor Guy present, the couple’s marriage was pronounced officially over this morning at the Principal Registry of the Family Division in High Holburn, London.
Guy apparently responded with, “Thank God!” when he was informed of the proceedings.
He also told a friends, “It was never about money ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ never about her bloody art collection. I just wanted to settle it and move on.”
The filmmaker allegedly turned down $10 million offered to him, only raising a fuss when Madonna wanted to keep the kids permanently in New York. These claims are countered by Madge insiders, who insist that he WILL be getting a big payday from the divorce settlement.
While Lourdes will reside in New York with her mother, sons Rocco and David will reportedly split their time equally in the States and London.
Guy is also said to keep the couple’s $10 million country estate, and the Punchbowl pub. They will also sell a couple of their other homes, splitting the profits down the middle.
Like a good lad, Guy quietly celebrated his new freedom with a pint.
Friends say he’s just glad that it’s over.
