You may know Margaret Cho primarily as a comedienne, but if you haven’t yet experienced her taboo-laden music, then you’re seriously missing out.
After a slew of recent releases like Ron’s Got a DUI, Fat P*ssy, and (I Want To) Kill My Rapist, the Grammy-nominated singer is ready to drop her first album in over six years!

Margaret released a statement about her return to music with American Myth, saying:
“I am extremely proud to release American Myth. This is an album of anthems and showcases my first efforts as a composer. I made it with my longtime collaborator Garrison Starr and an incredible and inspiring crew of artists. It is my glamorous and glittering tribute to family, comedy, anger, fame, gayness, grief, fat pride, love, and hate.”

Plus, the funny lady also announced dates for her 2016 stand up tour on Wednesday, which kicks off January 28 in Kansas City, MO!
American Myth is Margaret’s first studio album since her 2010 debut with Cho Dependent, and we cannot wait until April 29 to hear what she’s got in store for us.
