The lawyer for Mariah Carey‘s ex-manager claims the diva is a “train wreck” whose battle with bipolar disorder and substance abuse led to some frightening and dangerous incidents over the past few years.
As we reported, Stella Bulochnikov (AKA Stella Stolper) recently filed documents in New York ahead of a possible lawsuit against the songstress for breach of contract.
Her high powered lawyers Pierce O’Donnell and Bert Fields say Mariah is “addicted to alcohol, prescription pills, and marijuana” and fired Stella without cause while she was under contract.

They also claim that Mimi owes her former manager millions in unpaid commissions, as Stella was apparently a 50/50 partner in a production company with over a dozen projects in the works that are worth over $100 million.
The team of attorneys say they will move forward with an embarrassing “blockbuster expos├â┬⌐ lawsuit” if the 48-year-old does not settle — and they shared a preview of these sordid details to The Blast just to show they mean business!
First off, O’Donnell claims Mariah’s big People profile, in which she revealed her bipolar disorder diagnosis, was a “big lie.” While he said the diagnosis was true, he claimed “the reason that she is in the position she is in now is she refused to take her medication.”
The lawyer then pointed to Mariah’s infamous New Year’s Eve disaster in 2016, where she blamed her haze of a performance on Dick Clark Productions. In reality, O’Donnel says, Mariah was just “stoned out of her mind” and could barely get up on the stage.
But lazy performances are nothing compared to a scary incident from earlier that year, when she allegedly believed that Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Prince were coming to her home for a dinner party.

Sources told The Blast that following Mariah’s breakup with James Packer, she was in a “terrible manic state” after a summer of heavy partying with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka.
One night in 2016, Nick Cannon called Bulochnikov alarmed after the singer’s nanny found Mariah “wearing a ball gown and a tiara” and sporting a Ring-Pop she claimed was given to her “from the royal family.”
Mariah allegedly asked the nanny to prep her two young children for a dinner meeting with MJ, Whitney, and Prince — who were all, of course, dead at the time.
After the nanny alerted the songstress’s inner circle, Mariah’s team arrived with a psychiatrist, who felt that the singer needed to be hospitalized. The sources claim Mariah actually tried to jump out of the moving vehicle on her way to The Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Instead of being placed on an involuntary 5150 hold like the doctors suggested, Mariah was put in the care of private physicians and agreed to be treated at the Beverly Hills Hotel for several weeks.

Upon her arrival at the hotel, the sources claim that all sharp objects were removed from the room and a team of doctors administered medication to stabilize her. Over the course of her weeks-long stay, Mariah would allegedly walk the grounds alongside a doctor in scrubs.
Mariah was reportedly stable after returning home, but started to spiral again and refused to take her medication. Her ex manager’s lawyers claim hospitalization is just one of the incidents Stella helped the diva get through, adding:
“Stella pled with Mariah to get sober and she refused. Stella then became her constant guardian and protector.”
They also claim Stella was responsible for Mariah’s recent career revitalization and, in return, got nothing but “being summarily discharged.”
What does the diva have to say about all this? A rep for Mariah simply told The Blast:
“If this frivolous and baseless claim is filed, we will defend against it vigorously and successfully├óΓé¼┬ª This injustice will NOT go without sanctions.”
Sounds like much more behind the scenes drama is about to unfold.
