Marie Osmond's Talk Show Is Dunzo!

Marie Osmond‘s talk show has been canceled!

The Hallmark Channel announced on Tuesday that although they are pulling the plug on Marie, it will live on in syndication!
The show was not renewed for a second season because of transitioning happening at Hallmark.
A rep for the network explains:

‘”Hallmark Channel is in a phase of true transformation to a much more diversified portfolio of family friendly entertainment that includes original movies and acquired series in addition to original primetime scripted series and a full original daytime line up. With so many talk show offerings in the daypart, particularly in broadcast syndication, Hallmark Channel has decided not to greenlight a second season.”

Hallmark says it wants to go in a different direction in daytime, more lifestyle shows offering how-to tips!
