With technology being as badass as it is these days, pretty much NOBODY on the planet should be without clean water! Matt Damon ESPECIALLY feels this way, hilariously talking about taking a “toilet strike” a few months ago to raise awareness for his humanitarian effort, Water.org. Basically he won’t be going to the bathroom until everyone on the planet has clean water!
Then, amazingly, other celebrities joined his pledge to not expel their bodily waste until the issue was resolved — including Jason Bateman, Jessica Biel and Josh Gad!
Now, EVEN MORE are joining (above)! This time Olivia Wilde, Richard Branson, and Bono join up!
The PSA couldn’t get funnier, even with the alarming REAL statistics thrown in: 780 million people (1 in 9) lack access to safe water.
This is a real cause that demands real attention. There’s no reason why we can’t have a laugh while helping the world!
