Gay Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg Takes His Turn At The Top Of The 2020 Group -- Would U Vote For Him?!

The mayor of South Bend, Indiana went on Bill Maher‘s eponymous talk show last night on HBO to discuss public policy and politics — and when he did, a lot of Democrats across the country got one of their first good, long looks at the man who is currently pushing towards the 2020 forefront!
Mayor Pete Buttigieg (pronounced ‘Boot-edge-edge’) is young, gay, and firmly Midwestern in his style while carrying some bona fide progressive substance in his policies. That’s a combination some Dems believe may give them their very best shot to beat Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election, and so Buttigieg is starting to gain some traction in liberal circles already 18 months before Election Day.

As you can see in the full interview (above), Mayor Pete — who is 37 years old, a Harvard University graduate, and a veteran of our wars in the Middle East — handles the heat from Maher just fine, acquitting himself well enough on the show that has become something of a litmus test for Democrats in their ongoing battle against Trump and his team.
But can Mayor Pete sustain all this momentum, and start to pick up support and votes months from now when it really matters?? What about y’all, Perezcious readers — it seems like the Democrats have taken the “anybody but Trump” idea to its extreme considering how many candidates are running for 2020 already…
