Children’s childhoods are safe, as the ban on McDonald’s Happy Meals in San Francisco (due to go in effect today) has a loophole that won’t really effect the restaurant at all.
No, in fact, all McDonald’s has to do is offer the same meal and offer the option of purchasing a toy to go with it — for 10 cents, which will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House!
We here at fitperez.com are all about health, but we’re also all about kids getting to experience their childhoods. One part of childhood is getting super excited about a Happy Meal once in a while!
And that’s the key: once in a while.
Because, as you dear readers already know, we’re huge proponents of moderation! Don’t buy one for you kid every day, just make it a rare treat!
