McDonalds Non-Rotting Burger Claim Proven False

The internet was recently shocked when a blogger took pictures of a McDonald’s burger over the course of a 6-month period and documented how it never molded or changed in any way.

Now another blogger has debunked the theory that McDonald├óΓé¼Γäós burgers don├óΓé¼Γäót rot by conducting an experiment of his own. He set up nine different types of burgers — including different sizes, homemade beef, etc. — and watched what happened to each one over time.

He found that the burger rotting had nothing to do with it being from McDonald’s, but rather depended on how big it was. The bigger the burger, the more moisture it holds and the more it will rot. Smaller burgers lose moisture more quickly, and without moisture nothing rots.

So, it looks like it’s sort of safe to eat at McDonald’s again (although we still don’t recommend it)!
