We always knew fast food and cute cartoon animals would try and take down the world! Luckily for Singapore, they haven’t quite succeeded — the riot almost caused was defused before it could go full-blown!
So what did they do to cause such a problem?
The restaurant sold out of a Hello Kitty plush toy. It just wasn’t any plush, apparently — it was the last of its Fairy Tale collection. Whatever that means!
“The Singing Bone” Hello Kitty is a skeleton version of cuddly creature. People wanted it SO BAD that they lined up the night before, and people even started fighting each other in line! The cops had to be called and everything!
Then they sold out… and true fans walking away empty handed found out that people were selling them online for TEN TIMES the amount they were purchased for!
That’s some cold shizz! We’re just glad nobody was extremely hurt!
