Idol Alum Katherine McPhee Gets A Job - Acting!

We told you guys earlier about Debra Messing landing a role in the Spielberg produced drama pilot for NBC, Smash.
Well, we’re happy to let you guys know that Idol alum Katharine McPhee has also signed on to the project!!
Here’s a synopsis of the show again:

“The Steven Spielberg musical drama, from DreamWorks TV and Universal Media Studios, revolves around a cross section of characters who come together to mount a Broadway musical inspired by silver screen icon Marilyn Monroe.”
