Megan Thee Stallion Says She Was 'Betrayed By All' Her Friends After Getting Shot!

megan thee stallion explains feeling betrayed by friends after shooting

Megan Thee Stallion is feeling super alone!

Following her recently dropped musical collab with Cardi B, WAP, the 25-year-old chatted with fans on Instagram Live, revealing for one that the music video did indeed feature LIVE SNAKES! Whoa!

But when fielding one question in particular: “what did you feel after getting shot?” she delivered a much more serious response about what’s she been through.

The Captain Hook rapper responded:

“I feel like this is a thing that I see every single day and I see so many women and I see so many men talking s**t about this. I felt, like, really crazy. I felt like, why did I get shot? Like, what did I do? It was insane. But s**t was crazy and I feel like some people think that it’s funny and some people think that it’s a joke and I feel like some people are saying that to get to me.”

She continued, explaining how after the incident in July which left Meg with a GSW in her foot, she is “not ashamed” of what she’s been through, despite feeling “very betrayed” by “all” of her friends:

“It’s not fun, bitch. I don’t understand. I just felt very betrayed by a friend. I felt very betrayed by all my friends. I felt very shocked, very scared. But the one thing that y’all need to know about me is I’m not a person who is able to be down for a long time … I don’t like to be victimized. I don’t like to feel like ‘Oh my god, Megan, something’s wrong.’ I like to be upbeat. I like to be happy.”

Ugh. We can’t imagine what she must have gone through, especially when she was seeing inappropriate comments from people online about it PLUS feeling isolated from her friends. From what it sounds like, she’s still going through a hard time which is totally understandable!!

She wrapped things up by encouraging her followers to always be “a light” in life by setting a good example for others, even when they experience difficult times:

“Pain does not last forever. Bad times don’t last forever. So I definitely always want people to see me being an example of bad things not lasting forever. Just because you go through something bad, don’t mean that that’s the time you’re gonna be in forever.”

Great advice for us all!! Sending love and a virtual hug, Megan.
