Meghan Markle Sends Apology Note For Not Attending High School Reunion Day Before Giving Birth!

Meghan Markle was the talk of her high school reunion!

Royal Meghan Markle has not forgotten about her humble beginnings!
As we reported last week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child, son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 3 oz.

The day before the former Suits actress delivered her bundle of joy, her all-girls Catholic high school — Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles — held its 20-year reunion. While Markle (obviously) could not attend, she sent her former classmates a very special gift.
According to DailyMail.com on Tuesday, Prince Harry‘s wife sent a letter of apology in a Kensington Palace envelope to her alma mater.
Per a former friend:

“Everyone was disappointed that they did not get to catch up with Meghan given everything that has happened to her. But the whole group was super excited about her giving birth to the first British-American prince, it was all anyone talked about. They were so excited to get that letter from her. She is remembered as someone who is very thoughtful, and to get that kind of attention now that she is a Royal went down really well. Hopefully she will be able to make it to the 25 year reunion and she is welcome to bring Harry and Archie along with her.”

Out of a graduating class of more than 50, 37 women — who graduated from the institution in 1999 — attended the event.
After Meghan gave birth, the school posted a congratulatory message to their former student on its Facebook page. It read:

“The school community extends best wishes of happiness to the Royal Family on this joyous event!”

Following Archie’s arrival, officials released the following statement:

“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526hrs this morning. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news. The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage. Her Royal Highness and the baby are both doing well.”

Speaking to cameras outside Windsor, Harry said to the press:

“I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy. I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. It’s brilliant, I’m absolutely thrilled. We’re really grateful for all the love and support shown to us. It’s been overdue so we have had a little bit of time to think about names so that’s the next bit.
I haven’t been at many births. This is my first birth. It was amazing and absolutely incredible. I’m incredibly proud of my wife. Every father and parent will say your baby is absolutely amazing but this little thing is absolutely to die for. I’m over the moon.”

Congrats to the royal family on their new addition!
