Meghan Markle is raking in the dough with her next gig!
As we previously reported, the Duchess of Sussex will appear as a special guest for the Her Best Life Retreat in Australia next month. And it turns out she is getting paid big bucks only to talk and take photos at a gala! Sources revealed to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that Meg will receive a $1 million appearance fee! Damn! One insider said:
“Meghan is being paid extremely well for this. Her fee is around a million dollars, and the trip itself is completely taken care of.”

They aren’t kidding! As the source said, “Everything is covered!” Even for those coming with her, which includes Prince Harry:
“First-class flights, a luxury hotel suite, security, stylists, hair and makeup, her assistant — the whole entourage of about four people. It’s a full VIP operation. They’re rolling out the red carpet for her.”
It’s no wonder the retreat is SO expensive! They need to pay the Suits alum salary and then some!
The event comes at a perfect time for Meghan. Following the end of her lifestyle brand partnership with Netflix, she is on the hunt for new opportunities. And if all goes well, you may see her doing speaking gigs more often:
“Events like this are incredibly profitable. She can command huge speaking fees. For Meghan, this trip is equal parts business and branding.”
