Again?? Meghan Markle has been called out for stealing ANOTHER name from ANOTHER creator! This time, it’s her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
On Tuesday, the Suits alum announced the podcast with Lemonada will be all about interviewing other businesswomen. But fans quickly realized the name was a bit too familiar.
First, there are multiple other podcasts with similar names, such as Confessions of a CEO with Kelci Borges and even closer, Confessions of a Founder by Alysha M Campbell. But worse, YouTube star Kady Méite runs a video series under the EXACT same name! Uh oh!

Here’s a look at Kady’s latest edition of her Confessions of a Female Founder series, where she talks about creating her company Veil Street, posted a month ago:
It’s definitely a different vibe from what’s planned for Meg’s podcast, but still… this is a disturbing trend for the royal! We mean, names, logos, everything seems to be the same as someone else’s! Each one could be an innocent mistake, but it’s like every single thing!
Naturally, Kady’s fans were super upset for her! But she’s not having it!
The content creator spoke with Yahoo Lifestyle on Thursday to shut down the controversy. She explained that she has heard and understands fans’ concerns and frustrations — but she’s not upset about it, saying:
“I completely understand why people are drawing connections, and I truly appreciate the support and understand their intention. But I also understand coincidences as well. It is highly unlikely Meghan even came across my channel but I am flattered by the thought.”
She is a small account with just under 2K subscribers, so it’s certainly not a given that Meghan has heard of her. Still, you’d think by now someone on Meghan’s team would run a quick Google check to make sure she’s coming up with an original name! We mean, this has happened on basically all her projects!
Nevertheless, Kady doesn’t seem to mind the similarities and is instead upset to see the internet once again pitting women against each other, adding:
“What does concern me is how quickly this is turning into another reason to drag a woman down. That’s not something I want to contribute to. I know firsthand what it feels like to have my work actually copied…this isn’t that.”
Whoa! She’s definitely the most chill we’ve seen of the many who have been copied by the Duchess!
As Perezcious readers know, after Meghan rebranded her lifestyle company As Ever, it was revealed there was a small NYC-based clothing brand with the same name and a Chinese company that owned the rights to the name for clothes. She was also accused of ripping off the logo from a Spanish town, which was considering legal action! Can y’all believe she’s still making these mistakes??
