Meghan Markle Announces Title & Release Date Of New Podcast After Extensive Spotify Failure!

Meghan Markle has a lot more to say!

Just one week after she dropped her Netflix cooking show, the Duchess of Sussex is gearing up to launch her new podcast! On Thursday, the royal took to her Instagram to announce that her latest media endeavor with Lemonada will be called Confessions of a Female Founder. Detailing what fans can expect, she shared:

“I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses. They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As ever. It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?)”

The first episode will drop on April 8. Exciting!

As Perezcious readers know, this is the Suits alum’s second attempt at the podcast game. Back in 2021, she and her hubby Prince Harry signed a $20 million deal with Spotify. They released Meg’s show Archetypes one year later — and while the 12-episode series topped the charts, Spotify didn’t renew the show. Instead, they stopped working with the royals altogether!

While the streamer and Archewell founders claimed they parted ways on friendly terms, an insider told The Post at the time that the couple didn’t produce enough content to earn their full payout. There were also TONS of reports about how difficult Meg was to work with behind the scenes.

Even as recently as this January, royal correspondent Neil Sean told Fox News that Spotify staffers nicknamed the host “Eva” after Joan Crawford’s diva-like character Eva Phillips in Queen Bee. They’d use the nickname “as a warning signal to let people know that she was either arriving or on the warpath.” Jeez!

The pair were called “grifters” by an exec at the company and other sources told Podnews that Meghan straight-up faked her interviews by having someone else interview her guests and then edit in her voice later. F**king wild! Why host a podcast if you don’t actually want to talk to anyone, you know?

The mother of two’s Netflix show has earned mixed reactions from viewers, but it has already renewed for a second season. So, things seem to be looking up for the actress now. We’ll see if she can keep it up with this next project!
