What Might Be Meghan Markle's New Year's Resolutions For 2019??

Meghan Markle Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has a lot to be thankful for looking back on 2018 — and just as much to get ready for in 2019!
The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby with Prince Harry in the coming year, of course, after the pair’s incredible marriage earlier this year — and so resolutions just seem such small potatoes compared to the royal life, don’t they?!

Maybe not for Meghan, though, considering she used to share her New Year’s Resolutions regularly and track them meticulously on her former lifestyle blog The Tig.
As you can see in this blast from the past, Markle’s resolutions heading into 2016 were certainly something to behold (below):

“Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French. These make my New Year’s resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year. The marathon hasn’t happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks. Then there’s the French – a language I studied through high school and then lost as I immersed myself in speaking Spanish with the Argentinians during my stint in Buenos Aires. I have put my little Rosetta Stone headset in my eager ears every year, resolving to do interviews en français, but much to my chagrin, it hasn’t stuck. And when it comes to the biting of the nails – well, it still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It’s unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit.”

But that year, she did something different — she opted to drop the resolutions altogether in favor of something better (below):

“This year, I resolve not to have a resolution. For this new year, the only thing I aim to do is to approach life playfully. To laugh and enjoy, to keep my standards high but my level of self-acceptance higher. My New Year’s resolution is to leave room for magic. To make my plans, and be okay if they sometimes break. To set my goals, but to be open to change.”

…And less than six months after she wrote that, she met Prince Harry. Well, well, well! Knowing that… what should be on the plate for this coming year, as we head into 2019??
Maybe leaving more room for magic, only this time surrounding the new baby?! Or maybe something to do with finally getting away from her god-awful family??
Whatever it is, we can be sure it’ll be magical!!!
