Prince Harry and Meghan Markle don’t want any special treatment… they just want the drones to stop buzzing overhead!
The formerly royal couple is now living in Los Angeles, of course, and with that, they’ve had to deal with some unwanted house guests at their new residence: a series of drones flying as low as 20 feet overhead. And now, sick of the intrusions into what should be their private space, the couple is taking their troubles to the LAPD!

According to a report in the Daily Beast, the young couple has reported at least five different drones they’ve sen flying over their LA home since their big move down from Canada! Incidents have occurred at various times of day, including a concerning one when they were in the pool with their son, Master Archie.
A source spoke to the site about the ongoing issue — which is presumed to be photography-related, though no one is certain quite yet for sure:
“They see these drones coming in at them, and they guess that they are being operated by photographers, but they can’t just assume that. Meghan received racist death threats at the time of her wedding, so the terror threat is very real for them. But, aside from that, imagine if you were in their shoes facing that, how that would feel? To have drones buzzing around 20 feet above your head when you are trying to play with your son?”
Seriously!!! And it’s not just the drones, either!
A separate insider relayed issues with photogs and fans “following and tailing them every day,” including dangerous situations while driving around west LA. The couple, who is currently staying in a Beverly Hills mansion owned by entertainment mogul Tyler Perry, have called the levels of intrusion “unimaginable” and “incredibly dangerous,” according to that same source. Judging by the sound of things here, we can’t even imagine…
Now, the couple is hoping the LAPD can help stop the ongoing drone issue. Even with the request, however, that confidant noted they do not want special treatment or ongoing police protection past the investigation into the drones; Meg and Har simply want their privacy. The source said:
“They are not asking for any special treatment. Protecting their family is their top concern.”
Amen to that!
