We knew that the royal pockets were deep, but we didn’t think they were THAT deep.
As you’re aware, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are living in Los Angeles and currently trying to find their footing in their new life! And that includes finding a house fit for a Duke and Duchess, which doesn’t come cheap.

Per TMZ sources, the pair are looking at multi-million dollar homes in Bel Air, somewhere in the $12 million to $18 million range. For those not familiar with El Lay or The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air, this is one of the most exclusive AND expensive neighborhoods, so it’s no surprise they’re prioritizing privacy.
They’ve been super hush-hush about their move, and are being equally as tight-lipped on the real estate scene regarding what they’re looking for. According to the outlet, they’ve had their eye on one property, but nothing has come of it just yet. Additional reports have claimed in the past that the two were interested in Malibu as a spot to call home, but apparently this isn’t the case anymore.
Aside from finding a house, Meg and Harry are also working on getting involved in the local community. One way they’re helping out despite social distancing is delivering food to those in need through former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson‘s charity Project Angel Food. A confidant told DailyMail.com:
“Some people didn’t recognize them at first and others were just completely shocked. One elderly woman actually started to cry and said she had always been a fan and had always wanted to meet them, and then welcomed them to their new life in America.”
Apparently, they’ve really been able to make a difference during this difficult time! The source explained:
“Meghan said it felt good to finally be out and about, connecting with people. It was surreal and just so heartwarming. They brought so many smiles and made Easter so special for those who needed it the most.”
Aww!!
The former Suits star was first introduced to Williamson through her mom, and it’s been a “perfect fit” so far:
“Meghan had been looking for an organization to get behind and says Project Angel Food is the perfect fit. [Harry and Meghan] asked a lot of questions and seemed genuinely concerned and grateful for the people working at Project Angel. She plans on volunteering much more with Harry and for the time being urged her mom to stay home and stay safe.”
Seems like things are going great so far in LA for them! We’re sure they’ll find a palace that’s just right sooner or later.
