Ariana Grande Performed On The Met Gala Stage Looking Like A Sleeping Beauty Woodland Fairy!

Ariana Grande looked gorgeous on the Met Gala red carpet… and became a literal fairy later in the evening!

After the carpet coverage concluded on Monday, all the stunning celebs gathered at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art were graced with a BEAUTIFUL performance by the Moonlight singer. A sleeping Ariana was carried on stage by an entourage of backup dancers before she began singing Once Upon a Dream from the 1959 Disney princess movie Sleeping Beauty. See (below):

Ugh! The drama! The woodland stage design! So good! And so on theme for the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion exhibit!

Speaking of fashion, for the performance, Ari gave us her second look of the night in a twinkling, sheer, green and purple Margiela ensemble over a snatching corset. See (below):

She literally looks like a fairy straight out of The Garden of Time!

The pop star went on to sing hits from her own discography including 7 Rings, Into You, and We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love), which Vogue shared glimpses of on their Instagram page. See (below):

So good! What a performer!

Finally, she and her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo sang a duet of Mariah Carey and the late Whitney Houston’s When You Believe, which got us even more pumped for their upcoming musical fantasy. That turned out SO well, too:

Their voices blend so well together! BTW, Vogue reported that the magical performance boasted 30 performers from the Broadway Inspirational Voices choir.

Plus, earlier in the night, Ari wore a shimmering custom opal Loewe gown. See (below):

What an amazing night all around!! Thoughts, Perezcious readers?? Let us know down in the comments (below)!
