MObama is officially on Stephen Colbert’s bump status!
First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by The Colbert Report last night to talk about her Joining Forces initiative, which recently celebrated its first anniversary.
Mz. Obama explained:
“Jill Biden and I started this initiative to make sure that this country, which is a grateful nation, that we make sure that we do whatever we can to honor the service of our veterans, our troops and their families.├óΓé¼┬¥
Colbert asked the First Lady if there was any way citizens could help the troops privately, which brought Michelle to her next point.
Michelle answered:
“Absolutely. Our motto is everyone can do something. So this isn’t big government. Government has a role to play, but it can’t do everything.”
So true! Everyone can make a difference and we’re always happy to see people supporting our troops, whichever way they go about it!
Colbert lightened up the mood later on in the interview, asking Michelle about her guest role on Nickelodeon’s iCarly and which show she liked better!
The First Lady joked:
“That’s a tough one. iCarly is about 16 and she’s real deep.├óΓé¼┬¥
LOLz!
Colbert tried to get a dance party going on the show, like Michelle did on iCarly, but she said she’d save her dance moves for next time!
We hope she remembers to bring her dancin’ shoes!!
