This young one DEFINITELY earned the title of a “miracle baby!”
Xiao Zhao somehow survived after he was still in the womb of his mother when she and his father were driving to the hospital on a motorbike, and subsequently hit by a truck!
Accounts vary on what happened next, but some witnesses claim that the baby was catapulted from the mother’s womb onto the road, while others claim the mother delivered the baby immediately after the accident.
What isn’t in dispute, though, is that authorities came onto the scene to find that both of Zhao’s parents had died in the accident… and yet the baby, despite a few scratches, was determined to be totally healthy!
The 9-pound baby (big!) has been recovering quietly in a hospital near the site of the accident in Xiamen, China.
His extended family will be the ones in charge to raise this “miracle baby”, and we’re so glad they’re there to help.
We’re still super sad, though, that his parents perished in a horrific accident.
Truly an amazing story!
