Natalie Wood’s Yacht Captain ALSO Believes She Was ‘Murdered’ By Robert Wagner!

Natalie Wood death murder Robert Wagner Dennis Davern

Lana Wood isn’t the only one who believes Robert Wagner killed her sister Natalie Wood all those years ago.
The yacht captain from the night of the West Side Story star’s death recalled the fatal 1981 voyage on Friday’s episode of Dr. Phil, and he made it clear that something fishy was going on before Wagner told him his wife went “missing.”

Dennis Davern explained in the interview:

“You could hear things being thrown around the state room. I think the argument got out of control, she was knocked unconscious by a physical fight from Robert Wagner and put in the water.”

When Dr. Phil McGraw asked Davern straight up if he believed Wagner “murdered Natalie Wood,” the captain replied:

“I really do.”

Davern agreed with Lana’s account that there was a blow up between the couple while the were aboard the yacht that night. When he went to check in on them, Davern claimed Wagner told him to leave, remembering:

“When everything got quiet I thought, ‘something just isn’t right.’”

Davern alleged that when he went to check on them again, he found Wagner at the back of the boat, who then “looked at me and he said, ‘Natalie’s missing.’”

The 43-year-old actress was sailing with Wagner, Davern, and Christopher Walken the night she was said to have “drowned.” She was found floating in the water wearing a red down jacket and a flannel nightgown.
Her death was ruled as an accident after a two-week investigation, but the case was reopened in 2011. Wagner has recently been named a person of interest.
